CLARK is dedicated to being a good community steward and giving back to the communities we live and work in. Through the CLARK Raising Hope program, over 85 organizations in the Bluegrass region receive financial and volunteer support from CLARK and its employees annually.

CLARK Raising Hope

As a good corporate citizen, we believe we have an obligation to support the communities we live and work in through financial and volunteer support. CLARK Raising Hope was established in 2007 as the philanthropic arm of the business. CLARK Raising Hope supports over 85 organizations around the Bluegrass region, through volunteerism as well as targeted financial support. Each employee is given 16 hours of Volunteer Paid Time Off annually to support our philanthropic partners in a volunteer capacity.

2023 AHA Picture

Central Kentucky Heart Walk

In 2023, CLARK designated the American Heart Association’s Central Kentucky Heart Walk as our flagship event. In 2023, over 75 CLARK employees and family members attended the annual walk, and together we raised over $18,000 through sponsorships and employee fundraising. CLARK employees will continue to support the Central Kentucky Heart Walk into 2024 and beyond. We are proud to partner with an organization funding life-saving research and education on heart disease and prevention.

At CLARK, philanthropy isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are. Community support is one of the key values at CLARK, and our employees embody that value both on the clock and off. CLARK employees serve on the Board of Directors at Brightside Foundation, The Gathering Place, Fayette Local Emergency Planning Committee, and The Well of Lexington. In 2023, CLARK employees completed over 500 hours of community service outside of working hours.

Powerhouse of Giving

In 2018 CLARK recognized that, while there is widespread need in our community, the Lexington area lacked a collaborative space for businesses to come together to address these needs. To address this, CLARK combined forces with several other local companies in the Bluegrass region to form the Powerhouse of Giving collective. The purpose of the Powerhouse of Giving is to engage and empower caring businesses to provide resources that give back, while encouraging others to identify and respond to the needs of the community. By working together, we can better support the community and ensure that those in the greatest need receive the support they need. The Powerhouse of Giving welcomes new partners, so please contact use if your business would like a seat at the table.
