Lexington, KY, September 23, 2009 – CLARK Material Handling, a global leader in the material handling industry, has been awarded Republic Bank’s prestigious 2009 “We Care” Award. Presented September 22, 2009 at an awards dinner in Lexington, this award is for “companies that have exhibited the true spirit of the We CARE Award by encouraging their employees to become involved in volunteer activities and making an impact on their community. The award was created to publicly congratulate companies who stress the four elements contained in the We CARE name itself – Community, Activity,
Recognition and Enterprise.”

CLARK was one of four finalist companies in the “Manufacturing Category” for this award. Republic Bank noted CLARK’s leadership and philanthropy efforts in areas including Susan G Komen, the American Cancer Society, the Martin Luther King Unity Program, the Altrusa Mighty Mom Project, and the American Diabetes Association’s annual walk. In addition the company’s efforts with the United Methodist Children’s Home and Habitat for Humanity builds were also mentioned.
