CLARK Material Handling Company, a leader in the material handling industry is proud to announce that they have received the Governor’s Safety & Health Award for the THIRD year in a row at their Aftermarket Parts Distribution Center located in Louisville, KY. Representatives from the KY Department of Labor and Kentucky Association of Manufacturers were onsite on August 25, 2008 to present the award and join in the celebration to recognize that the CLARK employees have worked over 2,115 days without a lost time accident. Mark Brown, Deputy Secretary of the Kentucky Labor Cabinet presented the award to the safety committee and managers.
CLARK employees and management have worked together for over five years to reach this safety milestone. President and CEO, Dennis Lawrence stated, “We are proud of this achievement and believe that together we have one of the safest workplaces in Kentucky along with the best forklift and parts in the world. We are honored to achieve this award for three years in a row.”
